Savage Edits began in 2016 as an editing service. Its aim was to provide fantastic editors to writers in the world of self-publishing. The business quickly diversified to include a multitude of services for indie authors:

Ceri Savage

Founder and Editor

Ceri graduated from the University of Exeter, UK, in 2016 with a degree in English Literature. She established herself as a professional freelancer by working online as a travel writer and editor for self-publishers, while also developing her own creative projects. Ceri has been published by literary journals like the FU Review, magazines like RE:LUXE, and the short story collection Stories of the Nature of Cities. Her travel writing series Savage Travels is archived on The Best Travel Places website. She now lives happily in Berlin.

Mykola Shelepa

Book Cover Designer

Mykola graduated from the Logos Academy of Arts in Lviv with a degree in Graphic Design in 2015. Since 2010, Mykola has worked in print design and production using his expertise with Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. This led him to become one of Upwork’s top-rated experts in editorial design. Client satisfaction and high-quality work are his main priorities. Mykola currently lives in Ukraine.

Julia Po

Children’s Book Illustrator

Julia Po currently lives in Moscow, Russia. In 2017, she graduated from the School of Design and Digital Graphics with a degree in Concept Artist of Computer Games. In 2018, she graduated from the School of Design with a degree in Graphic Design. Since then, Julia has been working as an illustrator of children’s books. She has worked on a series of books about children with special needs children, including ADHD, autism, Down Syndrome, and deafness. In her free time, she likes to create her own worlds; she writes and illustrates short fairy tales.

Patricia Mesa

Spanish Editor and Translator

Patricia has been an English/Spanish translator and editor since 2005. She graduated initially from the University of La Laguna in 2002 with a degree in Tourism and Travel. A few months later, she decided to focus on what she always loved: languages and literature. She combined her job as a freelance translator with university studies, specialising in English and Spanish Literature. Originally from Spain, she’s lived in Ireland and the United States, where she earned the ATA Translator certification. Currently, she lives in her hometown in Spain.
